Fire safety in the residential sector

The Department of emergency of Ulan district in connection with a sharp cold air and due to the growth of the facts of fires in homes from heating furnaces, poisoning people with carbon monoxide conducts outreach on prevention of emergency situations.

January 14, 2021 in the Central mosque located in the center of Ulan district in the settlement of Kasym Kaisenov, members of the SFN of Ulan district with loudspeakers were brought to the villagers information on observance of fire safety in the residential sector.

We ask the residents of the district to follow the basic rules of fire safety in order to prevent the death of people from fires, carbon monoxide and the preservation of material values:

1) when heating the heating furnace, do not heat the furnace with heating for more than 1.5 hours, as the furnace structures overheat and lead to a fire;

2) Chimneys, chimneys and other elements of heating furnaces and systems are cleaned of soot immediately before the start, as well as during the heating season at least:

once every three months-for heating furnaces.

3) Stoves that have malfunctions, cracks and crevices should be plastered and whitewashed;

4) Ash and slag containing incandescent and smoldering materials, after raking out of the furnaces, are removed to a specially designated place for them, excluding the possibility of fire and spilled with water;

5) Do not place flammable objects (clothing, firewood, etc.) near the stove.);

6) It is forbidden to use faulty electrical devices, apparatuses and electrical wires;

7) when leaving the house, make sure that electrical appliances are disconnected from current sources and gas appliances are turned off;

8) residential buildings must have devices that protect against short circuits.
