The thickness of the ice in the waters of the Ulan district is from 10 cm to 20 cm.

On the coasts of the river.irtysh in bays, the thickness of the ice is 8-15 cm, in open areas of the irtysh river, the thickness of the ice is from 5 cm to 10 cm, so it is absolutely dangerous to go to these places.
