Huge damage is caused by fires due to the ignition of coarse feed. After all, during the period of foraging for livestock, people worked all summer and autumn, tirelessly. And so it is a shame when all the work of many days is destroyed by fire in a matter of minutes.

And on the territory of the Ulan district there were quite a few facts of fire of roughage. Since the beginning of the year, 13 cases of fire of coarse feed were registered, 496 tons of stored hay were destroyed by fire, the total damage from the fire amounted to about 4,340,000 tenge.

The main causes of fires during storage, storage of straw and hay ricks are: careless handling of fire by adults and children; sparks from tractors and combines, arson.

In this regard, the emergency Department of the Ulan district asks the population to comply with the requirements of fire safety rules when storing and applying them:

for storing coarse feed on the estate plots of residential buildings, it is carried out at a distance of at least 15 meters from buildings and outbuildings. If it is impossible to store coarse feed at the specified distance, provided that the storage area is provided with an additional water tank of at least 500 liters, the distance is reduced to 5 meters.

Prevent:

1) store on the roofs of sheds and other outbuildings;

2)to be stored under power lines;

3) store at a distance of less than 3 meters from the external fence of the site;

4) place haystacks, piles, and ricks of coarse feed on streets, roads, and outside of personal plots.
