Day of languages

On September 17, 2020, employees of the Gerasimov rural library and the village club held a round table "Respect your language" in honor of the day of languages. We were all born in the same country, but we all speak different languages. Because Kazakhstan is a multinational state. Each nation has its own language and history. There is no language that is not worthy of respect.

Participants were told about the history of languages in the past, given a quiz and read poems in both languages.

Language policy in Kazakhstan is based on three directions: development of the state language, preservation of the Russian language and mastering English.

The exercise "Find the translation of words", a presentation on the topic "Slang and jargon" in each language.

Participants took part in the dialogue, told about the importance and widespread development and use of the Kazakh language, played games and congratulated on the holiday.
