Military service under contract – a worthy future!
The Department of defense Affairs of the Ulan district conducts recruitment of military service for entry into military service under a contract in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The contract on military service in The armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan is concluded:
1) for three years - for persons entering military service for the first time under a contract;
2) for five years;
3) for ten years;
4) before reaching the age limit of the state in military service;
5) for cadets, cadets and military interns – for the period of training in a military educational institution and for ten years of military service after its completion (for flight cadets – for fifteen years of military service after its completion);
6) for students, undergraduates, doctoral students, adjuncts – for the duration of training and for five years of military service after graduation from a military educational institution or before reaching the age limit for military service.
Social security of military personnel under the contract:
1) all categories of military personnel for the performance of military service duties are provided with monetary allowances.
2) Monetary allowance includes monetary maintenance (official salary and salary for military rank), allowances for special conditions of service and other allowances provided for by the current legislation.
Official salaries of military personnel under the contract are determined taking into account the length of public service.
The sizes of official salaries and salaries on military ranks of contract servicemen is established not below the sizes of official salaries of state employees in corresponding positions and sizes of corresponding additional payments for special ranks and class ranks.
3) Military personnel are provided with personal property at the expense of the state;
4) Meals according to the standards established by the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
5) Medical support of military personnel in military medical institutions (organizations) is carried out at the expense of the state;
6) military personnel under the contract are granted an annual basic leave with the payment of health benefits in the amount of two official salaries, the duration of which is determined depending on the length of service.
7) military personnel in need of housing and members of their families permanently living together with them are provided with housing for the period of military service at the expense of the state.
8) Military personnel serving under a contract as soldiers and sergeants, who have served for at least eight years in calendar terms, are entitled to reimbursement of the cost of training in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on a paid basis in the amount of 50% of the cost of training at the expense of budget funds;
9) of the Servicemen involved (participating) in combat operations, anti-terrorist and peacekeeping operations, military personnel of military intelligence of the Ministry of defence involved in carrying out operational tasks in the framework of intelligence operations, provide additional leave for two weeks, which is added to the annual leave.
10) Military personnel have the right to be dismissed from military service in accordance with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On military duty and military service»;
11) In the event of death (death) during military service or after dismissal from service as a result of injury (injury, injury, contusion), illness received as a result of performing military service duties, the heirs of the serviceman shall be paid a lump-sum compensation. The Procedure for payment of lump-sum compensation is established by the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
12) Military personnel have the right to retire:
-soldiers and Junior sergeants - forty-five years;
-military personnel of senior non - commissioned officers and officers up to Lieutenant Colonel (captain of the second rank) - forty-seven years.
