At the staff meeting in the Department of Digitalization and Archives of the East Kazakhstan Region, Ethics Commissioner A.Shaitova introduced the new edition of the Ethical Code of Civil Servants of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 22, 2022.
In modern conditions, the strengthening of requirements for the moral and moral appearance and business qualities of civil servants required the improvement of legislation in this area, which contributes to increasing public confidence in state bodies.
The new Code of Ethics establishes standards of service ethics and serves as a basis for the formation of moral and ethical qualities among civil servants.
Ethical principles of public service have also been introduced – integrity, honesty, fairness, openness, politeness and customer orientation.
In the new version of the Code, special attention is paid to priority requirements, one of which is the formation of a "client-oriented" state apparatus and compliance with the principles of openness in the provision of public services.
