About the training format from January 24, 2022

From January 24, 2022, educational organizations throughout Kazakhstan will work in the traditional offline format. This decision was made by the Interdepartmental Commission to Prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.

The algorithm of work of educational organizations is as follows.

Preschool organizations (kindergartens) will accept children according to parents' applications.

In general education schools, up to 600 students receive full-fledged offline training.

In schools with more than 600 students – offline training with a workload of no more than 50% of the design capacity. In this case, the Ministry of Education and Science recommends teaching students in grades 1-4 in the traditional format, taking into account their age characteristics, according to which it is more difficult for primary school children to study remotely.

As for students in grades 5-11, school administrations are recommended to take into account the desire of parents to teach children in a regular format, organize shifts and substitutions, transfer training in some subjects to a distance format.

Education in extracurricular organizations: individual classes in a full offline format, group classes for up to 15 people - in normal mode, in correctional offices (centers) for children with special educational needs - individual and group classes for up to 8 people in normal mode.

In colleges and universities of the country, training will take place in a combined format: practical, laboratory, seminar classes, industrial practice - in regular mode, lectures - in online format.
