Dear fellow countrymen!

It was a historic significant day in the region. On the eve of the holiday, we solemnly opened the monument of Independence of our country. The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin. In his speech, he noted that the East Kazakhstan region has a high industrial and agricultural potential, makes a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the whole country. Our famous countrymen, Doctor of Philology, Professor of Shakarim State University Arap Espenbetov, writer Alibek Kantarbayev and Olympic champion in athletics Olga Rypakova received the honor of opening the monument. In the central part of the monument, the words of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev about the value of independence of our country are written in three languages.

"The greatest goal, the most sacred duty of every person who has adopted Kazakhstan in his homeland is to firmly hold the flag of Kazakhstan." 30 years ago, Nursultan Abishevich made the most important political and economic decisions, assuming a great historical responsibility to future generations and defining the tasks set for decades to come in the development of our state. Supporting the policy of Elbasy, we can proudly say that today we are citizens of independent, strong and successful Kazakhstan, who have achieved great achievements.

Today, at a solemn meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the Decree of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Prime Minister Askar Mamin presented state awards to East Kazakhstan residents. I, like you, am proud of our fellow countrymen who have received high awards.

The Order of Dostyk II degree was awarded to the chairman of the Council of Public Consent of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of the East Kazakhstan region Gennady Pussep. The Order of "Kurmet" was awarded to Igor Radovich, Sergey Bezhetsky, Asem Mamutova, teacher Bagzhamal Sadykova. Tractor driver Omirtai Asipov and electroplator of the precious metal products section Lyudmila Grechukhina were awarded the Order "Enbek Danky" of the III degree. The medal "Eren enbegi ushin" was awarded to the trainer-teacher Aidar Kairbayev.
