Everyone has ever purchased a low-quality product and faced improper service. Even more often it happens that sellers give false information about the origin and characteristics of the goods, or even hide it altogether. Such cases relate to the sphere of consumer rights protection and are regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan" On Consumer Rights Protection " of May 4, 2010.
To combat such phenomena and provide more effective and affordable opportunities for consumer protection, at the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Trade and Integration launched a Unified Information System for Consumer Protection. The portal is hosted on the website e-tutynushy.kz.
The EISPP is an online platform on which the most necessary information on consumer protection issues is collected for Kazakhstanis. In addition, you can find contacts of human rights defenders on the site or leave complaints to the management of companies and organizations that have violated the law on consumer rights protection.
By the way, consideration of consumer complaints is provided at all levels of the consumer protection system:
- sellers (manufacturers, performers) of goods (works, services), initiators (organizers) of games;
- public associations of consumers, associations (unions), legal consultants who are members of the chamber of legal consultants and provide legal assistance, and other persons in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- subjects of pre-trial settlement of consumer disputes;
- the authorized body for the protection of consumer rights.
To send a request, you need to log in on the site e-tutynushy.kz.
Also, for the protection of consumer rights, you can contact the Department for the Protection of Consumer Rights of the East Kazakhstan Region, which is located at the address: Ust-Kamenogorsk, Burova str., 20, phone 8 (7232) 267-207. Email address: dzpp.vko@mti.gov.kz.
