Video surveillance and alarm buttons will be installed in all schools of East Kazakhstan Region-Danial Akhmetov

Danial Akhmetov held a meeting of the East Kazakhstan Regional Akimat, during which a number of important issues for the development of the region were considered. In particular, new projects in the field of agriculture were discussed during the event. The production of agricultural products is growing in East Kazakhstan region, including the area of sowing of oil crops is increasing, because farmers know that there is a final consumer for the raw materials they produce - two large oil extraction plants in Semey and in the village of Predgornoye in the Glubokovsky district. At the same time, there is a problem with pasture lands in the industry. The mayor recalled that recent changes in the legislation allow local executive bodies to seize unused pasture lands and transfer them to those who really need them. The second very important issue is the availability of preschool education. East Kazakhstan Region is the only region in Kazakhstan where the queue for kindergartens for children from 3 to 6 years has been completely eliminated. But there is still a queue in the nursery for the youngest in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey. "Now we need to take a closer look at the nursery gardens. Within 10 days, all mayors of cities and districts will develop a plan and study the need. Next year we will start the construction of new facilities within the framework of PPP, " the head of the region stressed. Touching upon the topic of preparing schools for the new academic year, Danial Akhmetov noted that repairs in all 647 secondary schools in the region will be completed by August 19. Currently, offices and canteens are being modernized, video surveillance and alarm buttons will be installed in all educational institutions. Until the first of September, all schools will be provided with the necessary fuel supply. At the same time, the governor of the region considers insufficient work on the organization of extracurricular activities. According to him, there are only 114 circles and sections working in the East Kazakhstan Region. "This is not enough. We need all our children to play sports, " D. Akhmetov said. The meeting also discussed the implementation of important infrastructure projects, considered issues of youth employment, organization and holding of IT forums and hackathons.
