Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ICRIAP) announces the acceptance of proposals for the draft law on strengthening the protection of personal data

In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, the ICRIAP has begun to develop amendments to the legislation aimed at improving the sphere of personal data and their protection.

Digital services are increasingly penetrating the lives of Kazakhstanis, at the same time, the risks of personal data leakage are increasing. The issues of personal data security in modern realities are among the priorities for our country.

 

In this regard, every citizen of Kazakhstan can make their own proposals to strengthen the protection of personal data, expand their rights regarding personal data and improve national legislation in this area.

Offers are accepted until March 15, 2021 in the following ways:

 

in electronic form on the portal of " Electronic government»;

by email kib@mdai.gov.kz

by mail to the address: 010000, Nur-Sultan, Mangilik El Ave., 8, House of Ministries, 2 entrance.

The collected proposals will be formed into a single draft law, which, in turn, will also be submitted for discussion with the public.

It should be noted that the content proposals must be justified and motivated, and not violate the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.
