Digitization of industry in East Kazakhstan region

Digitalization of industry leads to increased productivity, improved quality and lower production costs, increased efficiency in the use of investments, and rapid introduction of new products to markets.

Therefore, the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan pays great attention to improving the competitiveness of products through the introduction of modern technologies at enterprises, modernization and digitalization of production.

To this end, the East Kazakhstan region has developed and approved a Roadmap for the digitalization of industry. Enterprises of the region carry out technological modernization of production using elements of Industry 4.0.

By 2025, it is planned to implement 21 projects on the introduction of digital technologies with an investment volume of 17.4 billion. These projects are financed from their own funds. The economic effect will be 37 billion tenge.

At present, 6 enterprises of the industry using digital technology: KAZZINC LLP, Vostoktsvetmet LLP, KAZMineralsAktogay LLP, Asia Auto JSC, Ust-Kamenogorsk titanium and magnesium combine JSC, Bukhtarma cement company LLP.

In total, 11 projects (total cost – 11 billion tenge) were completed during the period of implementation Of the state program "Digital Kazakhstan".
