About the world environmental action "world cleanliness day" (world cleanup day)

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the East Kazakhstan region informs that on September 19, 2020, the association of legal entities "Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan" will hold the annual World Ecological Action "World Cleanup Day".

World cleanup day is an annual global social action program dedicated to tackling the global problem of solid waste.

The purpose of the Action is to unite the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to hold a republican action for garbage collection "World Cleanup day 2020". Only together we will be able to clean each region of the country from the accumulated waste, as well as change the attitude of people towards maintaining a clean environment and give an impetus to the widespread introduction of separate waste collection for its further processing.

On this day, volunteers and partners from all over the world will come together to rid our planet of garbage - remove garbage and waste from our beaches, rivers, forests and streets.

World Cleanliness Day harnesses the power of people around the world to achieve incredible results by joining together. Its advantage lies in collaboration and interaction: building bridges between communities, including all walks of life.

In connection with the current situation due to the pandemic, this action will be carried out in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
