The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the East Kazakhstan region reports that the second republican contest “Green Office” has been announced by the association of legal entities “Coalition for a Green Economy and the Development of G-Global”

  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. Organizer of the competition: ALE “The Coalition for a Green Economy and the Development of G-Global” (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer) with the support of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  1. COMPETITION MISSION

2.1. The mission of the Competition is to stimulate the leaders and employees of organizations who are not indifferent to issues related to environmental protection.

III. COMPETITION OBJECTIVES

3.1. Advocacy of energy - water and resource conservation, promotion of environmentally friendly technologies, goods and services, as well as the promotion of creating comfortable working conditions oriented towards a careful attitude to the environment.

3.2. The formation of "green" thinking among the population by promoting a lean attitude to office resources.

3.3 Promoting a community of environmentally responsible companies;

3.4. Attracting public attention to environmental issues, sustainable development, maintaining the climate balance, and rational use of resources.

  1. In the field of education (universities, colleges, schools, kindergartens, etc.);
  2. In the field of healthcare (hospitals, clinics, medical centers, etc.);
  3. Among state bodies (ministries, akimats, administrations, etc.);
  4. Among international organizations and representative offices;
  5. Among the quasi-public sector;
  6. Among industrial enterprises;
  7. Among business centers and shopping centers;
  8. In the service sector (hotels, beauty salons, sports complexes);

ORDER AND DATE OF THE COMPETITION. THE TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

5.1. Information about the Competition is available on the Organizer's website - www.greenkaz.org. To participate, you must fill out the form in pdf format and send it to the email address greenkaz.kz@gmail.com

5.1.1. After consideration of applications for the completeness of the submitted documents, applications are registered.

5.1.2. All participants who have registered for participation in the Competition will be sent a confirmation email, if necessary, additional instructions for submitting competition materials to the email address indicated in the application.

5.2. The following are allowed to participate in the Competition:

5.3. Participation in the Contest is public and free.

5.4. Applications for residents of Kazakhstan, as well as completed projects in Kazakhstan, are accepted for the competition.

5.5. The competition is open and public.

5.6. Applicants have the right to contact the Organizers of the Competition for clarification on the preparation and execution of applications for participation in the Competition, the procedure for the Competition and other issues.

  1. Criteria for choosing a winner.

6.1. Environmental efficiency - the use of renewable energy, reducing indoor air pollution, noise, electromagnetic smog, separate collection of household waste, thermal insulation, air ventilation and ionization quality, greening, including phytoncide plants, phytodesign, environmental friendliness of furniture, wall and floor coverings without harmful chemical emissions, fire safety, etc.

6.2. Economic efficiency - saving electricity, heat, fuel, water, maintenance costs and office repairs, etc.

The use of energy-saving class A +++ technology.

6.3. The use of environmentally friendly building materials in the construction and repair, the use of world standards and brands of "green building".

6.4. Accessibility and openness of best practices, the possibility of large-scale replication of experience

6.5. The number of people who have improved their working conditions in the building

6.6.Increasing staff performance, labor productivity

6.7. Reducing paper consumption in favor of digital technology. Refusal of disposable tableware.

6.8.Availability of modern ionizers, humidifiers, air purifiers

6.9. Installation of photocopiers and inkjet printers in the corridors to avoid allergic reactions from the dispersion of microparticles

6.10. Good quality lighting in workplaces, including from the street and artificial light spectrum

VII. COPYRIGHT, USE OF COMPETITIONAL OFFER MATERIALS.

7.1. Copyright on the results of intellectual activity presented in the competitive offers of the participants belongs to the respective participants, is protected by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international legal acts.

7.2. Use of materials of competitive offers:

The Organizer of the Competition has the right to use the materials contained in the competitive offers as part of the information and advertising campaigns to support the Competition, as well as to cover its results, to publish information brochures, organize exhibitions, etc., as well as in the press, printing media, television programs and exhibition events without additional coordination with the participants. Sending an application for the Competition means the consent of the participant with the above conditions for the use of competitive projects.

Viii. PROCEDURE FOR CARRYING OUT STAGES OF SELECTION

8.1. Consideration of applications for the competition is carried out by the Competition Commission. The format of the selection stage is determined at the discretion of the Contest Organizers.

8.2. Applications are evaluated according to the criteria of the competition.

  1. SUMMARY OF THE COMPETITION

9.1. Finalists of the competition are awarded with a certificate of participation. Winners of the Competition are awarded with honorary diplomas and statuette.

9.2. The results of the Competition within 10 working days are drawn up by the protocol of the Competition Commission. The results of the Competition are published in the media and (or) on the website of the Organizers of the Competition no later than 5 working days from the date of its registration.

9.3. Applications are non-refundable and are held by the Contest Organizers.
