In Ust-Kamenogorsk, more than 7,500 social government services were provided proactively

The proactive format of receiving government services is gaining popularity in the East Kazakhstan region. Thus, this year, about 16 thousand social services were provided via SMS, without an application from the recipient of the service. This is 26% more than in the same period last year.

It should be noted that the lion's share of proactive registration falls on Ust-Kamenogorsk. Since the beginning of the year, more than 7,500 residents of the city have received benefits without submitting an application to the PSC. Of these, over 500 people have applied for benefits for large families, about 100 - benefits due to mothers awarded with the "Altyn Alka" and "Kumisalka" pendants.

"To receive the service proactively, clients only need to give consent via SMS. All the necessary information is automatically pulled from the information systems of government agencies. But, it is important to remember that the recipient's phone number must be registered in the mobile citizens database, that is, the information must be on the e-government portal,"  emphasized Aizhan Agibaeva, Deputy Director of the Government for Citizens branch in East Kazakhstan region.

Note that today, 14 types of social benefits can be proactively issued, including:

- maternity and child care benefits up to 1.5 years;

- benefits for mothers awarded with the Altyn Alka and Kumis Alka pendants;

- state social disability benefits;

- state benefits for the loss of a breadwinner;

- benefits for large families;

- state benefits for caring for a disabled child.
