May 9 - Victory Day

In honor of the celebration of Victory Day, on May 9, a ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame took place in the Victory Park in the village of Samara. It was attended by the district akimat, district maslikhat and other government agencies, war veterans and descendants of fallen soldiers, military personnel and law enforcement officers. Those gathered honored the memory of the soldiers who died at the front during the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence and honored their spirit.
