Regional workshop “Network management system for core and magnet schools”

On April 29, 2024, the East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Educational Development “Örken” of the East Kazakhstan Education Department based on the roadmap for the implementation of the National Report “Quality Education Available to Everyone” for 2024-2029 on the basis of the KSU “Samara Secondary School- Lyceum named after Zh. Bolganbaev" KMM education department for the Samara region held a seminar "Network management system for core and magnet schools."

70 subject teachers from rural and small schools in the region took part in the seminar.

In the first part of the event, the methodologist of the scientific and methodological center “Örken” of the education department of East Kazakhstan region Boshaeva G.M. made a report on the topic “Shagyn zhinakty aul mektepterin damytu maseleleri”. School director Bagisova B.K. made a presentation on the topic “Tirek mektep – magnetic mektepter”.

In the second part of the workshop, teachers of the Samara Secondary School-Lyceum named after. Zh. Bolganbaeva, which is a Competence Center, together with teachers from two schools showed practical classes in physics, chemistry, mathematics, English and history using a network management system and conducted 2 master classes.

During the seminar, school teachers and students who took advantage of equipped classrooms through the Permanent Knowledge Development Fund and had the opportunity to implement research projects presented 8 projects. It was observed that students who defended their projects were accustomed to independent work and adapted to conducting research.

In the feedback at the end of the workshop, participants shared their thoughts on the provided cases, research elements, active learning methods, and expressed gratitude to the speakers who demonstrated their experience. They noted that the theoretical and practical experience gained will be used in their activities.

Participants were given recommendations for the implementation of the Road Map for 2024-2029.
