How to get a duplicate license plate for a car

Often, drivers lose license plates due to weak fastening or due to various weather phenomena: strong wind, rain and many other factors. What to do and where to go in these cases was told at the Government for Citizens branch in East Kazakhstan region.

To restore the license plate, you must contact the special service center and submit the appropriate application.

“For the production of new numbers, you will need to pay a state duty in the amount of 2.8 MCI. If you need to restore one number, then in the amount of 1.4 MCI,” noted the director of the State Corporation branch, Azamat Esembulov.

Please note that if you have multiple vehicles, when requesting duplicates, you must submit separate applications for each vehicle.

Additionally, a special public service center for the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk is located at 203/3 Abay Ave. It is open on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 9:00 to 13:00.
