The Samara District Akimat discussed crime prevention.

On January 23, 2026, a joint meeting of the akimat and law enforcement agencies was held in the Samara district, chaired by Serik Zhenisov, the district akim. The meeting, held in the format of a "Legal Hour," focused on crime prevention.
The meeting was attended by Samara district prosecutor Adilet Kuandykov and deputy head of the district police department, police lieutenant colonel Dulat Kaliyakperov. Also present were heads of government agencies, representatives of local executive and representative bodies, rural district akims, and civil servants from the district akim's office.
During the meeting, it was noted that President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at a recent meeting of the National Kurultai, emphasized the importance of law and order, noting that they are the foundation of stability, public safety, and public trust in the state.
Law enforcement representatives briefed the participants on the current situation in the district and reminded them that compliance with the law largely depends on the work of local leaders and civil servants. It was also noted that since the beginning of the year, violations of law and order by individual civil servants have been recorded in the district. Appropriate measures are currently being taken in response to all identified incidents.
Meeting participants also discussed current crime prevention issues and practical measures to prevent them. Law enforcement representatives called on civil servants to be more actively involved in preventative work, interact with the public, and make a personal contribution to ensuring public safety, including combating online fraud.
Summing up the meeting, Samara District Akim Serik Zhenisov emphasized:
"Public trust in the state is formed primarily through adherence to law and order. All civil servants, akimat employees, and other government agencies must not only strictly adhere to the law but also, by personal example, promote a culture of law and order and respect for the law among the population."
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen their outreach efforts. Planned measures include holding legal hours and lectures, as well as informing residents and employees of institutions about legal requirements and the penalties for violating them.
