Cultural policy and support for vulnerable segments of the population discussed in Samar district

Akim of Samar district Serik Zhenisov held a regular meeting of the district akimat. Among the key topics is the implementation of the long—term concept of Kazakhstan's cultural policy for 2023-2029, as well as support for socially vulnerable categories of the population. Reports were made by the heads of departments of internal policy, culture and sports, employment and social programs, akims of rural districts.

Serik Zhenisov instructed to organize entertainment events for the population in each rural district in the summer and especially in winter. He also stressed the need for special attention to the older generation. The Department of Social Protection, together with the departments of sports, culture and the Council of Veterans, was instructed to work out socialization mechanisms for pensioners to involve them in the active life of the district.

— We can cover our clubs with gold, but if they don't work for the people, it will be a waste of public funds. Therefore, we must organize leisure and cultural events in them for all categories of the population," Serik Zhenisov emphasized.

Also at the meeting, Aidarkhan Sadikov was appointed advisor to the akim of the Samar district. He served as Deputy Chairman of the Veterans Council until 2023.
