On the basis of Article 633 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, starting from the year following the year of submission of the declaration "On assets and liabilities" in the form 250.00, participants in the universal declaration are required to submit an annual declaration "On income and property" in the form 270.00. Since January 1, 2024, the form of the Declaration of Income and Property 270.00 has been simplified, the list of declared information has been reduced, namely, the need to reflect income taxed at the source of payment (wages, deposit fees, pension payments, etc.) has been eliminated. In addition, the obligation to reflect information on the acquisition and (or) alienation, and (or) receipt of gratuitous property registered both in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad is imposed only on individuals who are specified in the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption", i.e. on persons holding a responsible public position; persons authorized to perform state functions; officials; persons equated to persons authorized to perform state functions, as well as their spouses. The remaining category of taxpayers reflects information on acquisition (alienation) only for property outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. The new form of the Declaration of Income and Property (form 270.00), taking into account the above changes and the Rules for its preparation, were approved by Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 03/29/2024 No. 169 and from 08/01/2024 implemented in the information systems of the State Revenue Committee. The declaration in electronic form can be submitted through the web portal "Taxpayer's Office" and SONO.  Citizens also have the right to submit a declaration in hard copy by mail or in person, through the State Revenue Department at their place of residence or Public Service Centers. From 01.01.2024 In accordance with the amendments to the Tax Code, a single deadline has been set for submitting a declaration, both in electronic form and on paper, no later than September 15. In 2024, in our region, 121.6 thousand individuals are required to submit a declaration in the form 270.00 (participants of the I-II stages), of which 96.5 thousand individuals have submitted a declaration to date, which is 79%, 25.1 thousand have not submitted a declaration. In order for taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations to submit declarations on a timely basis for universal declaration, the State Revenue Department recommends submitting declarations in advance, without leaving them on the last day.
