What do I need to know about the liquidation of a legal entity?

What should be guided by when closing an LLP? What stages does the legal entity liquidation procedure include? What documents do I need to submit to the PSC? This is reported by the branch of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" in East Kazakhstan region.

The procedure for de-registration of an LLP is regulated by the Civil Code (Article 50 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan). The application to the PSC is submitted no earlier than 2 months after the publication in newspapers of the announcement of the liquidation of the LLP.

"Government for Citizens", upon receipt of a package of documents for the liquidation of an LLP, checks whether the procedure has been fully followed, then enters information into the National Register of BIN. Further, the Tax Committee, in turn, provides the State Corporation with information on the presence or absence of tax debts of the liquidated LLP to the budget. Within 5 working days after receiving the application, it registers in the register the fact of termination of the legal entity's activity," said Aliya Dyuzbaeva, head of the Department for Registration of Legal Entities of the branch.

By the way, since the beginning of the year, the branch has registered 317 liquidations of legal entities.
