The President took part in the ceremony of raising the National Flag

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the solemn ceremony of raising the National Flag at the Atameken ethnomemorial complex in Astana. The head of the honor guard company gave the President a report on readiness for the ceremony. Then the National Anthem was played and the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan was raised.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the audience on the Day of State Symbols and noted that this significant holiday embodies the strengthening of our statehood.

– The ceremony of raising the National Flag on the occasion of today's date has just taken place. May our sky-blue banner fly proudly! It is the sacred duty of every citizen to honor him. Our flag, floating in the blue sky, fills each of us with a sense of respect for our Homeland. Thanks to his sporting victories, he has repeatedly risen in many international tournaments. Recently, the first Kazakh climber once again raised our banner over the highest point in the world – Mount Everest. The Summer Olympic Games are approaching. I am sure that in honor of the victories of our athletes, the sky-blue banner will rise up over the arenas of Paris more than once," the President said.
