"Government for Citizens" celebrates the 8th anniversary of its creation: how digitalization has changed the sphere of public services

Over 8 years, the State Corporation has provided more than 302 million public services.

Today, 1,281 types of services can be obtained through the Government for Citizens. Of these, 41 are provided in "paper" format, 486 – in paper-electronic format, and 754 – in electronic form.

It should be noted that the issuance of an electronic digital signature became the leader of public services by the end of 2023 – it was ordered 3.4 million times. The registration of vehicles is in second place, and the issuance of driver's licenses is in third place.

Let's add that the "Government for Citizens" today consists of 263 PSC and 30 special centers with 25 race tracks (including special sectors), 7 centers for migration services and 35 sectors (offices providing the most in–demand services) of PSC throughout the country.

"Government for citizens" is the epitome of a "hearing state." They turn to the authorities through us, they get answers through us, and our mission is to make this connection fast and effective. The most urgent task in the near future is to create a more open and accessible digital state for Kazakhstanis.

On behalf of the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, in cooperation with other departments, we will combine all platforms for the provision of public services into a single space.   AIS PSC 2.0, contact center 1414, eGov.kz eGov mobile on a smartphone, on a home computer, on an operator's monitor will have a single interface and unified processes – you can start and continue the service from any device and anywhere," said Arman Kenzhegaliev, Chairman of the Board of the NAO State Corporation Government for Citizens.

Among the landmark projects of the Government for Citizens:

• launch of the PSC mobile application;
• creation of the "Unified State Cadastre of Real Estate" system;
• transfer of the functions of the RAGS to the State Corporation;
• creation of a network of connection points – access points to public services in public places, for example, in shopping malls;
• implementation of the SDA 3.0 system when passing exams on knowledge of traffic rules.

Recall that the "Government for Citizens" celebrates the 8th anniversary of its creation.  On April 7, 2016, a new non-profit joint-stock company was registered in the justice authorities, whose task was to "accept applications for the provision of public services and issue results on the principle of "one window".
