In the period from April 03 to 07, 2024, in the Abai region and the East Kazakhstan region, due to the forecast of precipitation in most of the regions, mainly in the form of rain and a sharp increase in the temperature background, as well as with the continuation of intense snowmelt, further rises in water levels, the formation of melt and slope runoff and the weakening of the ice regime, the destruction of the ice cover on the rivers, which can lead to congestion.

 

At the same time, spills and flooding of roads and railways, residential settlements and outbuildings with meltwater are possible.
