Renewal of family ties and social openness: updating of acts of civil status

"Government for citizens" in 2023 amended more than 89 thousand acts of civil status. Only in the first decade of January 2024, 45 thousand people requested data updating, more than 700 of them in East Kazakhstan region. Most often, East Kazakhstanis make adjustments to confirm the composition of the family, to enter information about their children.

Recall that on January 1, 2024, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the program "National Fund for Children" was launched. According to the program, all Kazakhstani children will receive a part of the investment income of the National Fund annually. Parents, guardians, and guardians check information about children in the civil status certificates on the portal eGov.kz .  

The information is updated at the request of the interested person. If the registration record is available in the Registry Office information system, the service provider makes changes within 2 working days. If there are no records in the information system that could be the basis for an adjustment, the service period is extended by no more than 5 working days.

Let's add that it is necessary to inform the state about the composition of your family in order to receive important messages and social services in a timely manner. Thanks to complete and correct databases, the state has a real demographic picture in the whole country and separately for each region. This allows you to plan the development of infrastructure – kindergartens, schools, hospitals – and develop various social programs.
