To prevent trouble from happening

In spite of the preventive measures conducted by civil protection workers with the population, the residents of our city still do not want to learn from the mistakes of others, they hope that their misfortunes will pass over them. Also, it is worth paying attention that the damage of the fire does not affect only you, because in the event of a fire, the entire building will be filled with smoke, and personal belongings and property of neighbors will be damaged.

For example, at the beginning of this year, 83 fire incidents were registered in the city (69 in 2022), 5 people died (3 in 2022). Statistics show an increase in fires and fire deaths.

In this regard, the Ridder City Emergency Management once again reminds you of the basic fire safety requirements in everyday life:

Apartments and living rooms are not allowed:

- to store flammable and combustible liquids, gas cylinders on balconies and loggias;

- to smoke in bed;

- to throw away cigarette butts from balconies and loggias;

- to leave cooking food unattended in the oven;

- to leave objects and devices with open burning sources unattended, as well as in places accessible to children and pets;

- to decorate the fences of balconies and loggias with flammable materials.
