A warning has been issued to the utility company in Ridder

The utility company ETALON FIRM LLP (hereinafter referred to as the Company) has notified the population of the city of Ridder about the suspension of the provision of services for the removal of solid household waste (hereinafter referred to as MSW) from October 1, 2023 (ustinka.kz dated 31.08 2023).

A public statement by the Company on the suspension of the provision of solid waste removal services may entail a violation of the rights of an unlimited number of consumers in the market of solid waste removal services within the borders of the city of Ridder and lead to a violation in the form of abuse of a dominant position.

In order to prevent violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of competition protection, the Department of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the East Kazakhstan Region issued a warning to the Company on September 1, 2023
