On the inspection of the civil protection notification system

On June 29, 2023, from 12.30 to 13.30 hours, an inspection of the civil protection warning system is scheduled.

During the verification of the notification system, a short-term activation of electric sirens will be carried out, as well as the interception of radio channels, the placement of information on Internet resources and in mobile applications.

The sound signal "Attention to all!!!" is a warning signal that is given to attract the attention of the population before transmitting all emergency messages in the event of a threat or an emergency situation. If you hear the sound of a siren, you need to immediately turn on the radio (you can use a cell phone) "Kazakh Radio" at a frequency of 104.0 or follow the official pages in the social networks of the Emergency Department of East Kazakhstan Region, notifications in the Darmen application and SMS notification of the 112 service.

All adults need to learn for themselves and explain to children that the sound of sirens is a signal "ATTENTION TO EVERYONE". After hearing it, do not be afraid, but you need to wait for an explanation of its cause.

It is recommended to inform the neighbors at the entrance and place of residence: they may not have heard the transmitted information. Immediately stop any manifestations of panic and rumors.

The Emergency Department of the East Kazakhstan Region asks to treat the verification of the notification system with understanding and be sure to train yourself, based on the recommendations given.

The inspection of the notification system is aimed at maintaining alert equipment in readiness and protecting the population from possible emergencies.
