On June 17, in the Katon-Karagai district, on the territory of the Aksu branch of the RSU "Katon-Karagai National Nature Park" (Ust-Yazov Forestry), a fire broke out in a remote mountainous area. Grass and bushes are burning. The preliminary area was 15 hectares.
Employees of Kazavialesookhrana, foresters, local executive bodies, firefighters of the Emergency Department of East Kazakhstan Region are involved in extinguishing the fire. A total of 111 personnel, 3 pieces of equipment and 2 helicopters of the air division of the Akim of East Kazakhstan Region. The troops involved in fighting the fire were delivered by helicopter, as the terrain does not allow moving on vehicles.
