In the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, from April 20 to May 4, 2023, together with the Creative Union of Puppeteers of Kazakhstan "Asia Doll", an international exhibition of original dolls and Teddy bears was opened.  

More than 45 craftsmen took part in the exhibition — from Kazakhstan (Almaty, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kokshetau, Ridder, Astana, Semey, Altai), Belarus (Brest), Russia, working in various techniques: an author's doll made of polymer clay, textile doll, felt dolls. The exhibition presents a long-term project "The Golden Age of the Silk Road", where a special place in the exhibition was occupied by the author's works on the theme "Silk Road", "Barefoot Childhood", "Fairy Tale", "Circus".

 A toy has always occupied a special place in the cultures of different peoples. Together with a folk tale and a folk song, a folk toy contributes to the formation of national identity, a positive attitude to the traditions of their people, the creation of their image of the Motherland, included in the holistic image of the whole world. The city of Ridder was represented at the exhibition by the author 's dolls - Itakhunova and I. Nedobitko .
