The Emergency Department of the East Kazakhstan Region reminds the population that it is not allowed to operate furnace heating:

 

-use flammable and combustible liquids for ignition of solid fuel furnaces;

- pumping furnaces;

-dry combustible substances and materials at a distance of less than 0.5 m from the surface of the furnace and chimneys;

-use gate valves (dampers) without the holes provided for by the design standards;

-use ventilation and gas ducts as chimneys, lay transit chimneys through residential premises

--operate furnaces with cracks and an uncleaned chimney

Ash and slag should be removed to a specially designated place for them, excluding the possibility of fire, and spilled with water.

If possible, install carbon monoxide sensors in homes.

Check ventilation on a regular basis.
