Getting to know the library
The library-branch No. 4 was visited by students of the 2nd grade of secondary school No. 17.
The guys made an exciting journey into the world of books: they got acquainted with the basic rules of using the library, learned how to handle books, what they are needed for. Special attention was paid to colorfully decorated book exhibitions.
During the event, the children learned about how to enroll in the library, what is a "subscription", "reading room" and how they differ. The children were also told how to choose the right books, according to which principle books are located in the library. After reading the book, it must be returned at the right time in one piece.
At the end of the event, a quiz was held for children "On the pages of their favorite fairy tales", in which they were able to show off their knowledge of Russian folk and author's fairy tales. Everyone, without exception, coped with the tasks perfectly.
