Presidential candidates continue to travel to the regions, reports Tengrinews.kz
On November 2, the presidential candidate from the OSDP, Nurlan Auesbayev, visited the regional election headquarters as part of a trip to Shymkent, where he met with the party's activists, and also held a reception of citizens.
During the event, Nurlan Auesbayev said that life has shown that the strategy "Economy first, then politics" turned out to be ineffective.
An equally serious problem, according to him, is corruption, which prevents the economy from developing. In order to eradicate this negative phenomenon, the candidate from the OSDP proposes to toughen the punishment against bribe takers as much as possible. At the same time, according to Auesbayev, it is necessary to deprive those convicted of corruption crimes of the right to early release.
Also, according to him, people's control over the distribution of budget funds is needed. To do this, Auesbayev said, the country needs a strong unicameral parliament that will represent the interests of different groups of the population.
Candidate Meiram Kazhyken arrived in Ust-Kamenogorsk, where he met with medical workers.
The candidate told the voters about himself. Then I listened to the questions of the doctors. They were interested in increasing wages, financing health care, social benefits.
"In developed countries, the attitude to medicine is different. Financing of medicine reaches 6 percent of GDP, and we have 1.5 percent, that is 4 times lower. Our medicine receives less funding, especially those organizations that live at the expense of the state. And funding should be enough to cover all the costs of the medical institution. The implementation of health care reforms is a very complex process, but it is effective. This includes training, conducting scientific research, and so on. Medicine should not be unprofitable," Kazhyken stressed.
In addition to state funding, he noted, it is necessary to develop a system of voluntary medical insurance.
Speaking about the national wage system, the candidate noted that for most citizens it remains "something mysterious." In general, he added, this direction is still problematic.
"The remuneration system should be clear and simple for any person. And not like now: you need to divide and multiply something in order to understand how much you will get in the end. Salary calculation should be clear. The salary itself should be worthy of your workload, so that it is enough for shopping and travel. I see that many people are looking with doubt. But this is how it should be and will be. Definitely! Otherwise, it is not worth taking up such a task," the candidate said.
Presidential candidate Saltanat Tursynbekova met with pensioners from the active longevity center in Turkestan as part of her campaign trips.
"These are people who have certain problems and needs. Active and with their own opinion... A decent and secure old age for all citizens is my dream," Saltanat Tursynbekova noted.
60-65 pensioners come to the active longevity center every day.
Together with the visitors of the center, she looked at and tested the simulators, talked and even danced.
Presidential candidate Karakat Abden held a meeting with Aktobe voters.
During the meeting, Karakat Abden acquainted the voters with her election program.
"In modern society, a mother with many children is an example to follow. Being a mother with many children is worthy of real courage. Our women succeed in everything. I am glad that many active businesswomen and mothers have gathered today," the candidate noted.
The voters discussed topical issues of society, the topic of preserving the national and moral values of the people, as well as the important role of the native language in the upbringing of children.
