Saltanat Tursynbekova was registered as a presidential candidate

Saltanat Tursynbekova was registered as a presidential candidate in the upcoming elections on November 20, the correspondent reports Tengrinews.kz .

"The required number of reliable signatures in support of this presidential candidate, established by the CEC resolution, is at least 118,273. According to the protocols of the territorial election commissions, authorized persons in support of the candidate Tursynbekova Saltanat Parkhatovna collected signatures of 119,316 citizens in 18 regions of Kazakhstan. Of these, 118,434 signatures were recognized as reliable," said CEC member Asylbek Smagulov.

He explained that, according to the conclusion of the linguistic commission of October 12 this year, Saltanat Tursynbekova is fluent in the state language

"All the documents required for the registration of Saltanat Tursynbekova have been submitted to the CEC and fully comply with the requirements presented to them. Based on the above, a protocol has been prepared on the provision of documents for the registration of a candidate.

Members of the CEC approve the protocol, and a draft resolution of the CEC has also been prepared on the registration of Salatanat Tursynbekova as a presidential candidate in the snap elections scheduled for November 20, 2022," Smagulov concluded.

The CEC members voted for the registration of the candidate.

Recall that Saltanat Tursynbekova was nominated as a presidential candidate from the republican public association "Kazakh Analary - dasturge Zhol".

Over the years, Tursynbekova has worked in government agencies, the Supreme Court, is an active member of the Public Council of Astana, as well as the head of the project "Kazakhstan without domestic violence".
