Более 73% респондентов готовы пойти на досрочные президентские выборы – соцопрос

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A little more than a month remains until the day of the extraordinary presidential elections. Various public institutions conduct sociological measurements in order to determine the mood of people, their awareness, willingness to go to the polls, vote for their candidate, Kazinform reports.

The Research Institute "Public Opinion" conducted a sociological survey. According to the measurements, 73.1% of the surveyed Kazakhstanis replied that they would go to the presidential elections on November 20, 2022.

The share of undecided respondents was 15.9%. 9.7% are determined not to participate in the vote. 1.3% of respondents found it difficult to answer the question.

In total, 76.1% of respondents certainly (48.3%) or rather (27.8%) believe that the presidential elections in November 2022 will be held fairly.

When asked about the qualities that a presidential candidate should possess, the top positions were: decency, honesty, higher education, authority among Kazakhstanis.

The sociological study was conducted by the Research Institute "Public Opinion" from October 6 to October 10 of this year. The sample included 1,200 respondents over the age of 18 from 17 regions and cities of republican significance Astana, Almaty and Shymkent. The method of telephone survey was used in the study.

The error is ± 4%.

The survey was conducted with the official permission of the CEC, in accordance with the CEC notification USC-08-18/1179 of 30.09.2022.
