The doors of the Ridder city fire departments opened hospitably, welcoming the children

The school year ended, school camps began to work, and the doors of the Ridder city fire departments opened hospitably, welcoming the children. More than two hundred children have already visited SPH-1 and PCH - 14. Every day firefighters and rescuers tell curious guests about their work.

During the tour of the fire station, firefighters demonstrated their combat clothing, protective equipment and individual fire equipment, as well as reminded about the rules of fire safety and how to act in the event of a fire.
The guys were shown the work of the dispatcher, technical support for quick notification of a fire.

In the garage, young visitors looked at the big red cars with genuine interest and, of course, did not miss the opportunity to get behind the wheel and take a picture in the cab of a tanker truck.

The most spectacular moment of the excursion for young cadets was a demonstration of working out the standard for fire drill training "collection and departure on alert".  The students were genuinely surprised that firefighters literally put on combat suits in a matter of seconds and went to the fire. Many guys were even able to compete with professionals and tried to put on firefighter's combat clothes for speed. To do this, of course, you need to have certain skills.

In addition, firefighters demonstrated breathing apparatus, told about their importance when working in a heavily smoky room.

And, of course, an integral part of any meeting with children is a reminder of the phone number for calling firefighters and rescuers "101", "112".

These numbers must always be known and remembered, because people's lives sometimes depend on the timeliness of reporting an emergency.
