The project office of Ridder-Adaldyk Alany organized a live broadcast on the topic "Ongoing flood prevention measures" with the participation of the chief specialist of the emergency Department of the city of Ridder Kolganov Mikhail Alexandrovich.

During the live broadcast, Mikhail Alexandrovich informed that flood prevention measures in the city are carried out in accordance with the plan, about the amount of equipment mobilized in case of emergencies, and the state of its suitability.

The winter period of 2021-2022 was characterized by a moderate level and temperature background of snow cover on the territory of the city of Ridder.

According to the data of RSE "Kazhydromet", snow cover in high-altitude areas is 260 cm, on average - 48 cm, in the city-36 cm (2021-39 cm), soil freezing - 18 cm, which is 19% less (2021-78 cm).

There are 9 motor pumps in the city, 7 of them belong to the State Enterprise "SP and ASR DCHS East Kazakhstan Region" and 2 to the local executive body. The pumps are operable and in satisfactory condition.

The number of employees to engage in flood control work is 90 people, equipment (MES-8ed, MIO - 7ed).

To date, the flood situation in the city is stable, there is no threat of flooding and is under constant control-said Mikhail Alexandrovich.
