The staff of the Ridder Museum of Local Lore congratulated the citizens on the National Currency Day!

In 2021, Kazakhstan celebrates the 30th anniversary of its independence. Tenge has become one of its symbols, and the introduction of the national currency is considered an important stage in the formation of an independent state. One of the first unique productions created in Kazakhstan after Independence was the Mint, founded in 1992 in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, located on the territory of the Ulba Metallurgical Plant. There are 58 mints in the world. Only 3 operate in the CIS countries (Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine). The Mint of Kazakhstan is already in considerable demand both in our country and abroad.
