Meeting with veterans

As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on November 11, 2021, employees of the Ridder, SPCH-1 and PCH-14 GU "SP and ASR" held a meeting with veterans of the emergency situations of East Kazakhstan region who are on well-deserved rest.
Hereditary military colonel Yevgeny Shchebet, who served in uniform for 37 years, shared his memories of working in civil protection bodies, the goals and tasks he performed, about participating in rescue operations when searching for victims on the water who got lost in the mountains, extinguishing riding forest fires, eliminating the consequences of spring floods.
For more than 10 years, Evgeny Ivanovich headed the Emergency Management Department of the city of Ridder, many paths have been traversed over the years and there is something to share with the younger generation.
The chief specialist Lyubov Khrapova devoted 25 years of her life to work in the Ridder UCS, dealt with issues of notification and communication, emergency prevention, education of the population and schoolchildren, worked with the media.
Galina Kurbatova has been engaged in civil defense issues, including protective structures, chemical and radiation protection, safety of hydraulic structures, drawing up plans and maps for a "special time" for 28 years in the Ridder UCHS.
Veterans gave recommendations to the younger generation and parting words, wishing success in their chosen field.
