Unified information system for consumer rights protection

Unified information system for consumer rights protection

Every person is faced with the problem of purchasing low-quality goods and improper service. It often happens that the buyer's rights are violated even before the purchase, when sellers provide false information about the origin and quality characteristics of the goods, or even refuse to give information at all. Bce these cases relate to the sphere of consumer rights protection and are regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Consumer Rights Protection" No. 274 - IV of May 4, 2010.

According to the order of the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, since the beginning of 2021, the Unified Information System for Consumer Rights Protection (hereinafter – the EISPP) has been operating access to the website e-tutynushy.kz.

The EISPP is an online platform where you will find information about consumer rights, find human rights defenders if your rights are violated, and also leave complaints directly to representatives of a trade organization.

The EISPP ensures consideration of consumer complaints at all levels of the consumer rights protection system:

1) sellers (manufacturers, performers) of goods (works, services), initiators (organizers) of games;

2) public associations of consumers, associations (unions), legal consultants who are members of the chamber of legal consultants and provide legal assistance, and other persons in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) subjects of pre-trial settlement of consumer disputes;

4) by the authorized body for the protection of consumer rights.

To send a request to the consumer, it is necessary to perform the following functions:

1) authorization of access on the site e-tutynushy.kz;

2) the formation (compilation) of the appeal, the attachment to the appeal, if necessary, of supporting documents;

3) sending and confirming receipt of the request.

If your rights are violated as a consumer, you can send an appeal through the EISPP.

Consumers regarding the protection of their consumer rights can contact the Department for Consumer Protection of the East Kazakhstan Region (Ust-Kamenogorsk, Burova str., 20, phone 8 (7232)267207, e-mail address: dzpp.vko@mti.gov.kz).

Also, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that any consumer can get access to the e-tutynushy website.kz via a computer or mobile device and send your appeal on consumer protection issues.

Protect your rights and become a competent consumer!
