One of the natural hazards that lie in wait on reservoirs is thin ice. Basically, the ice fails in the spring season. As a rule, the ice cover on reservoirs melts unevenly, in parts: first at the shore, in shallow water, in sheltered bays from the wind, and then-in the middle. On the surface of the ice, you can find places that, with the same thickness, have different strength and load capacity. The ice cover very often attracts children of teenagers to try it out for strength. Children love to skate and play various games on the reservoirs, as well as let in the melted places, swimming toys, accompanying them. However, such games can lead to tragic consequences. The Ridder Emergency Management Department recommends that citizens follow the safety rules when on the ice. According to paragraphs 16, paragraph 14 of the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 438 dated May 29, 2020 " On Amendments to the Order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 19, 2015 No. 34 "On Approval of Safety Rules on water bodies", children are prohibited from being on water bodies unaccompanied by adults. And we recommend that all residents do not step on the ice if you are not convinced that it is strong enough. Do not go out on the ice in the dark and with poor visibility. If you see a person fall on the ice or in the water, dial "101" or " 112 " and report the incident. If possible, you can help the victim by giving a handy rescue tool and pull him out of the water, ensuring your safety. Dear parents! Do not miss the opportunity to warn your children about the dangers. Do not allow children to be found and play on reservoirs and along rivers without control. Explain to them the deadly danger and categorically forbid them to approach the reservoirs. Dear residents of the city, be careful and careful. Take care of your health. Compliance with the above measures will save your life and the lives of your children!
