Watch out, danger from above!

Watch out, danger from above!

Low temperature at night and sunny during the day! So there are snow cornices, icicles on the roofs. They break down gutters and roofs. They can fall on passers-by or near by cars. This is an annual topic of discussion that is unsafe for the life and health of the residents of Ridder. Ridder City Emergency Management Department
reminds residents of the city about safety in the winter, namely:
- do not go near the houses; if you really need to pass by the house, look up to see if there are any hanging ice, icicles, snow. If there is, it is better to go around this unsafe place;
- do not go beyond the dangerous areas of the sidewalks fenced with tapes, trying to shorten the path;
- avoid places with warning signs: "Passage is prohibited!", " Danger zone!", " Snow is possible!»;
- don't rush out of the house! Look around, where it is better to pass! Pay attention not only to the road, but also to the roofs of buildings. Don't be indifferent! If you see snow eaves, icicles hanging from the roofs of your houses, call and inform the appropriate services. If ice blocks formed on the roof of a store or other institution-do not be lazy, inform the administration. If an accident occurs, do not pass by, call 112 or 101. Be alert and careful when moving along the street! Warn other pedestrians, especially children, of the danger!
