Watch out-thin ice!!!

In the near future, spring will come, snow and ice will begin to melt in reservoirs and rivers, and the spring flood will come. In order to prevent the death of people on the ice during the snowmelt, the Ridder City Emergency Management Department, together with the police department, organized field raid events at the

places of possible crossings across the city's rivers to inform the population of the basic safety measures at water reservoirs.

Ridder City Emergency Management Department reminds that, during the spring flood and ice drift, it is forbidden:

1. to go out in the spring to the reservoirs;

2. cross the river during the ice drift;

3. go close to the river in places of ice congestion,

4. stand on a steep bank that is subject to flooding and collapse,

5. walk on ice floes and ride on them.
