Strong civil defense to preserve the national economy

The World Civil Defense Day is celebrated annually on March 1 under a certain motto. This year, it will be held under the motto "Strong civil defense to preserve the national economy". Within the framework of this holiday, object trainings are held, as well as a set of events aimed at promoting knowledge about civil defense. The Ridder City Office of Emergency Management attaches great importance to the promotion of knowledge in the field of civil protection among children . In this regard, special lessons, contests, games, and competitions are held in schools and preschool ins titutions, during which participants acquire the necessary skills of self-defense and learn the rules of behavior in an emergency situation. Within a month, employees of the Ridder City Emergency Management Department organize the distribution of memos, brochures on civil defense measures and actions int he event of natural and man-made emergencies among the population and employees of categorized organizations. All events to celebrate the World Civil Defense Day are aimed at increasing the awareness of the population in emergency situations.
