To date, the situation with the food supply of the city of Ridder with basic food products is stable and remains under special control.

On a daily basis, local Executive bodies monitor prices for retail outlets in the city, wholesale organizations in order to prevent unjustified price increases for socially important food products, and identify the remnants of NWPT. Unjustified growth of prices for socially important food products is not fixed.

Monitoring of 19 socially significant food products since the beginning of 2020 has shown both an increase and a decrease in prices. The main increase in prices (which was observed in all regions of the country) is for products such as sugar, sunflower oil, buckwheat, horns, eggs and chicken meat. The increase is caused by a number of objective reasons.

For example, sunflower oil has risen in price due to an increase in prices for raw materials, i.e. sunflower seeds of the new crop, and a shortage of sunflower seed oil in the domestic market. To date, Ust-Kamenogorsk Creamery LLP supplies wholesale bottled unrefined sunflower oil at 400 tenge per 1 liter, refined-at 595 tenge per 1 liter. However, the assortment of this local producer includes Zarechnoye oil, which is sold for 540 tenge.

The cost of sugar rose in October due to an increase in the purchase price at sugar factories in the Republic. Cane, which is the main raw material for sugar production, is imported from abroad, which also affects the final price of the product. The rise in the price of chicken eggs is associated with significant costs for poultry farms due to the raging bird flu in the country: the number of chickens decreased, and it was necessary to buy disinfectants and vaccines. In addition, the cost of feed has increased. Despite the activity of the local producer, there was a slight increase in the price of dairy products. However, the price of dairy products of "MILKOM" LLP remains below the market and amounts to 240-245 tenge for milk, 290 tenge for kefir, 870 tenge for cottage cheese and sour cream. The increase in cost is due to an increase in the purchase price of raw milk and other production reasons.

In order to stabilize prices for socially important food products, explanatory conversations are held with the owners of retail facilities about compliance with the 15% trade mark - up on NWPT (but our entrepreneurs already adhere to such trade allowances and even less), memoranda are signed annually to comply with the minimum trade allowance for the NWPT. As of 20.11.2020, there are 75 memoranda in the Ridder region, including 6 memoranda with wholesale sellers, 5 memoranda with agricultural producers, and 5 memoranda with bakery owners.

Since November 7, bakeries in Ridder city, in agreement with the MIO, have increased the selling price of bread by 10 tenge due to higher prices from suppliers for flour, yeast, butter and an increase in utility tariffs. In order to relieve social tension, but at the same time support entrepreneurs, we have worked out a number of measures:

- increasing the production of social bread and, accordingly, increasing the number of stores that sell it, from 24 objects to 40 objects. At the same time, the price of social bread remains the same-75 tenge. Also, importantly, they are located in different parts of the city in order to complete coverage;

- involvement of a local producer of culinary products in the production of bread for sale in 10 retail outlets at 110 tenge (with the store's trade mark-up, the price of bread will be 115 tenge);

- an oral agreement on the sale of bread without a trade mark-up has been concluded with retail facilities (Elvira store, Vladimirsky bakery stall).

In order to sell fruits and vegetables, meat and dairy products to residents of Ridder at below-market prices at the address: 6 Nezavisimosti Ave., weekly "weekend" fairs have been resumed since September 19, 2020. 13 fairs were held in the amount of 2.0 million tenge. On November 7, an agricultural fair "weekend" was held in Ridder at reduced prices, which was attended by both local farms and farms of Shemonaiha, Ulansky and Glubokovsky districts. The fair's assortment included about 14 tons of meat - beef, pork, horse meat and lamb, as well as honey, vegetables, fish and raw dairy products. Total since the beginning of 2020. 48 fairs were held in the amount of 128.7 million tenge.

Curbing prices for raw and dairy products is carried out by signing memoranda with the local producer "MILKOM" LLP on providing preferential places for selling its products in the range at reduced prices.

In order to stabilize prices for fruit and vegetable products, the MIO concludes memoranda on the creation of a stabilization Fund for potatoes, carrots, beets, and cabbage on the basis of local farms for their sale to the city's population at fixed prices. In addition, cooperation with JSC "SEC "Ertis"is conducted on an ongoing basis. Wholesale bases of SP Taukhanbayeva G. D. and SP Skorokhodova I. A. from JSC "SEC" Ertis " imported cabbage from the Turkestan region and sold to residents of Ridder at a reduced price.

Bakeries in Ridder have the opportunity to purchase grade 1 flour at a reduced price in JSC "SEC "Ertis". Bakery " Lakomka+ "has already purchased 30 tons of flour, bakery" Kolos " (ADK) - 10 tons of flour. Also, retail outlets in Ridder city were offered to purchase rice, horns, and buckwheat at reduced prices through official messengers Odnoklassniki and Instagram of the state enterprise "Department of entrepreneurship and tourism of Ridder" in the SEC for their further sale with a minimum trade mark-up.

Since the beginning of the year, Ridder has seen a decline in prices for white cabbage, onions, and potatoes. Work in this direction continues. The issue of preventing the growth of prices for socially important food products is under permanent control from local government authorities and personally mayor of the city of Ridder.

In connection with the emergence and spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local Executive bodies with 7 individual entrepreneurs - owners of 18 pharmacies - signed memoranda on limiting the supply of medicines to one hand and observing price limits (in total, 8 individual entrepreneurs – owners of 21 pharmacies operate in Ridder). Every day, pharmacies in the city monitor stocks and prices for antipyretics, antibiotics and antiviral drugs. Monitoring data are sent to RSE "Department of control of quality and safety of products and services of the East Kazakhstan region of the Committee of control of quality and safety of goods and services MOH", "Department of entrepreneurship and industrial-innovative development of East Kazakhstan," the Prosecutor's office and maslikhat of the city of Ridder.
