As explained by the Director of the branch of the social health insurance Fund in the East Kazakhstan region Galymzhan Abilov, in order for SME employees to receive medical care from the OSMS package, their employers must transmit information about employees to the social health insurance Fund every month until January 1, 2021.
Employers must update their employee lists in electronic format no later than the 25th day of each month. To do this, they must follow the link http://msb.fms.kz/ on the website of the state revenue Committee and find your organization in the list by BIN (if there is no BIN in this list, registration of the organization is not possible). After that, you must use the electronic digital signature of a legal entity or sole proprietor to register and log in to the Fund's information system and sign the user agreement. Next, the IIN of employees who are exempt from paying OSMS is added – this can be done as a single Excel file, or line by line for each individual employee.
"Extending the grace period for SMEs is a measure to support small and medium-sized enterprises. In other words, taxes and deductions will not be deducted from the salaries of employees of these enterprises, and they will have full access to the health insurance package. If the lists of current employees are not updated in a timely manner, there is a risk of remaining uninsured in the OSMS system," Galymzhan Abilov stressed.
The full list of 29 categories of SMEs can be found in the decree of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 224 "on further measures to stabilize the economy on taxation issues".
