"On some issues of immune plasma production for the treatment of patients with COVID-19»

Dear residents of the city!

According to the requirements of the order of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2020 No. 256 "on certain issues of production of immune plasma for the treatment of patients with COVID-19", the region is working to find potential donors of immune plasma who have suffered from COVID-19 disease. As immune plasma donors, we can attract not only people who have a disease and recovery from CVI confirmed by laboratory PCR, but also those who have had COVID-19 disease that has not been confirmed by laboratory tests.

There are certain requirements when selecting potential donors:

Age over 18 years.

* The presence of severe clinical symptoms during the period of the disease.

• At least 14 days from the moment of recovery and no more than 2 months after recovery.

* Presence of specific IgG anti-COVID-19 antibodies in the blood serum.

As donors of immune plasma, first of all, men and women are involved in the absence of a history of pregnancies (to exclude the risk of alloimmunization).

The potential donor must be somatically healthy and have no contraindications to donation.

All potential donors must first pass the following tests at their place of residence •

* rapid test for the presence of antibodies.

* General blood test.

• Biochemical blood test.

If satisfactory results of laboratory tests are obtained, the patient is sent to VKOCC to participate in the donation of immune plasma.

The monetary reward for the delivered plasma in the amount of 600 ml is 7 MCI (19,446 tenge).
