Press release on the draft resolution of the Akimat of the city of Ridder

Rules for organizing and conducting events for current or major repairs of facades, roofs of apartment buildings, aimed at giving a unified architectural appearance to the city of Ridder
This draft resolution of the Akimat of the city of Ridder was developed by the State Institution “Department of Housing and Public Utilities, Passenger Transport and Highways of the City of Ridder” for the purpose of maintaining and preserving common areas of apartment buildings in the city of Ridder.
In accordance with Article 50 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Housing Relations" - the owner of an apartment, non-residential premises, parking space, storage room bears the burden of maintaining the apartment, non-residential premises, parking space, storage room belonging to him, as well as the common property of the condominium facility. Expenses for the management of the condominium facility and the maintenance of the common property of the condominium facility are incurred monthly. The amount of expenses for the management of the condominium facility and the maintenance of the common property of the condominium facility are established in proportion to the share of the owner of the apartment, non-residential premises in the common property.
Considering that major repairs of roofs and facades of multi-apartment residential buildings are associated with a large financial burden for owners of apartments/premises, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan previously introduced a norm into the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Housing Relations":
“Local executive bodies of cities of republican significance, the capital, districts, cities of regional significance have the right, if local budget funds are available, to organize and finance measures for the reconstruction, current or major repairs of external walls, roofs of apartment buildings, aimed at giving a uniform architectural appearance to a populated area (subparagraph 8, paragraph 2, Article 10-3).
