Key industry indicators
In January - December 2022, the index of the physical volume of industrial products (calculated from the dynamics of the production of the most important types of products) amounted to 99.5% compared to the level of the corresponding period of 2021. Industrial products worth 193,639 million tenge were produced. In the mining industry and quarrying, the volume of production amounted to 374,397 million tenge, in the manufacturing industry – 183,878 million tenge.

In January - December 2022, the volume of mining increased compared to the corresponding period of 2021 (200.5%), the volume of iron ore extraction (106.7%).
The supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air-conditioned industrial production index was: production, transmission and distribution of electricity 95.8%, supply of steam, hot water and air-conditioned 100.9%.
Water supply; collection, treatment and disposal of waste, activities to eliminate industrial pollution in the reporting period compared to the same period in 2021, the index was: collection, treatment and distribution of water 99.2%, collection and treatment of wastewater 100.2%.
